If you wonder why there is obviously a passage missing, I can only ask you to read my comment on the previous page.
Or I can explain that between this chapter and the previous one, Lunacy met a white haired man called Jack who had no choice but to help her. Poor Jack. It was certainly not his lucky day.
the "brother" Lunacy is refering to is Hatred. They usually pretend to be a family, with poor Sanael being the "dumb cousin we must take care of".

Might I suggest... Why not post the written passage as an image? (as in the "10 minutes later" box). That would avoid the go-to-this-site step.
